Stallion Service Auction
Stallions subscribed to VPHC's Stallion Service Auction (SSA) are sold on a first come first served
basis for 50% of their advertised stud fee for 2013. The stallion owner will receive one free entry into the breeders
futurity to be used in 2013 or 2014, and the resulting foal from the sold auction will receive a free entry to be used up
to its 3 year old year. If the stallion is not sold in the auction the stallion owner may pay a buy back / repurchase
fee and will receive the 2 free entries. All funds (100%) generated from the SSA are used
as incentives to Breeders Futurity classes held during VPHC's Fall Color Classic Futurity Paint-O-Rama. Stallion owners will receive 10% of the purse earned by their progeny. For example, when a stallion's foal
earns $200 for their share of the class purse, the foal owner will receive $180 and the stallion owner will receive $20.
The amounts will be calculated per class. 2013 SSA...plan now for 2014
